Well, my work is in the process of moving buildings. We're moving to a bigger, better building just one block South of where we are now. Thankfully, we're not expected to lug all the stuff ourselves. In fact, all we need to do is pack the little stuff in boxes, and slap stickers, with location numbers, on the bigger stuff, and it'll all magically appear where it's supposed to over the weekend.

Well, that's the theory... we'll see how it turns out. For the moment, it's fun trying to intermingle tearing-down of computer laboratories and work.

Oh, and in case anyone's interested, I'm a Software Quality Engineer... I try to find bugs in our software before you, the consumers, do :) It's very enjoyable work. Thank you to a good friend of mine that said 'You should come work for us', and I did. After all, how could I pass up the opportunity of working in another country (USA) for a little while?

I used to do that. I'd push all the little buttons until something broke and then I'd write a note to the developer and say "This is exactly how I broke it." and then the developer would write back with something like "OH DEAR GOD!!!"

Good times.

Err... what do you mean that the USA is "another country"?

Where in Australia? What city?

Melbourne, I would guess, from the tone of his last journal entry.
