The rainbow wings are a great part of the design, and I like the way the right hand side, being further away from the viewer, are slightly blanched. Gives a great impression of distance, and the size of the character.
Now, whatever could she (he? no sexual characteristics showing, but her face looks feminine) be thinking about the mouse. "A mouse? For me? You shouldn't have", or perhaps "Oh no, I couldn't possibly eat this... its all drab and colourless".
